3D i-See Sensor
The unique 3D i-See Sensor continuously analyses the temperature profile of your room, detecting exactly where you and your family are located based on your unique body heat signatures. With this thermal data, it then directs the perfect amount of heating or cooling towards those who need it most.
Indirect/Direct Mode
The Indirect/Direct Mode offers finely-tuned operation by locating where an occupant is in the room. Airflow is then directed either in the area surrounding the occupant to avoid excessive heating or cooling, or directly towards the occupant for immediate comfort, as set by user.
Absence Detection
With a built in intuitive occupancy sensor, the Black Diamond LN Series is able to detect when you leave the room (when the 3D i-See Sensor is activated), automatically switching to Energy-Saving Mode or Auto-Off Mode to realise even greater energy savings.
Plasma Quad Plus Filtration
The new Plasma Quad Plus Filter effectively removes six types of air pollutants including bacteria, allergens, airborne contaminants, mould, dust and micro particles with up to 99.7% efficiency; for a cleaner, healthier living space.

Dual Barrier Coating
The patented and world’s first Dual Barrier Coating from Mitsubishi Electric prevents dust and dirt from accumulating on the inner surface of the indoor unit; keeping your heat pump clean year-round. Keeping key internal components like the heat exchanger, fan and internal duct clean is important for both home comfort and efficiency. Not only does dust and dirt build-up typically create unpleasant odours, it also forces a heat pump to work harder, which can result in significantly impaired energy efficiency.
The award-winning MAC-568IF-E Wi-Fi Interface connects discreetly to your heat pump’s control board and should only be installed by an authorised installer. The MAC-568IF-E Wi-Fi Interface is available on Mitsubishi Electric High Wall, Floor Mounted, and Ducted Heat Pumps, and can either be purchased as an optional upgrade at time of purchase, or retrofitted to an existing Mitsubishi Electric model.
