HVAC Technical Trainer

Are you passionate about HVAC systems and love sharing your knowledge with others? If so, we want you on our team!
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled HVAC professional looking to transition into a new role as a HVAC Technical Trainer.  Reporting to the National Technical & Training Manager you will:

• Develop and deliver engaging, practical, and hands-on training sessions covering a wide range of HVAC topics, from basic principles to advanced troubleshooting techniques.
• Create innovative training materials, including presentations, manuals, and interactive simulations, to enhance the learning experience and ensure maximum retention of knowledge.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in HVAC technology and best practices, incorporating new information into training programs to keep them relevant and effective.
• Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve our training programs, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers.


About You:
• To be successful in this role you will need extensive HVAC industry experience of 10 years + with a strong understanding of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
• You will be a skilled communicator and have an ability to engage with people and build strong relationships.
• A proven track record of excellence as a technician, demonstrating proficiency in installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
• You will understand what true customer service entails with a passion to really understand our business and people.
• Great at managing your own time and prioritising, you will enjoy working autonomously while delivering high quality material to ensure learner engagement.
• Have some computer skills or proven ability to learn new systems and processes in a timely manner.
• A full driver’s licence as travel, including some out of town/overnight will be required.  (Company car provided inclusive of private use)

Technical Writer

We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to create comprehensive and user-friendly training materials for our HVAC products and services.
This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to simplify complex information into clear, effective educational content.

In this role you will:
• Develop and maintain training manuals, installation guides, and service procedures for HVAC systems.
• Work closely with technical experts and product managers to ensure accuracy and clarity in all training materials.
• Utilize multimedia tools and instructional design principles to enhance learning experiences.
• Conduct content reviews and revisions based on feedback from trainers and technicians.
• Stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies and industry standards to ensure content relevancy.

This role requires a strong technical background and the ability to simplify complex information into clear, effective educational content.

About You:
• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the HVAC industry or related technical fields.
• Proficiency in technical documentation tools and software (e.g., Adobe, Moodle, Microsoft PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with e-learning platforms and instructional design would be beneficial.
• Knowledge of compliance and safety regulations in the HVAC industry also a bonus.
