Operations Support Administrator - Transport

Reporting to the Senior Operations Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the operations team in the effective operational and reporting support function within BDT with specific focus on transport services. As the main point of contact for all carrier claim enquires, you will look after and monitor any missing in transit or damaged in transit claims and ensure they are dealt with in a timely manner.

This is a busy and varied role so you will require an unflappable nature!

Having exceptional relationship skills will allow you to build rapport and gain trust with both internal team members at BDT as well as our key suppliers.

About You
We are looking for someone who has demonstrated experience in a busy administration, accounts receivable and/or service provision support role.

You will be resilient, cope well under pressure and be able to field a large variety of requests within the company’s operational department with a friendly and practical approach. Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and patience to get any task completed to an absolute high standard is paramount.

About The Role
Within this role you will be responsible for the sales and promotion of the Mitsubishi Electric range of HVAC products with focus on maintaining a high level of contact with key accounts, building strong relationships and identifying key market opportunities.

To be successful in this role you will have some experience managing a sales territory as this is largely an independent role and territory. This is your chance to grow your exceptional sales career. It would be advantageous but not essential to have some knowledge of heat pump technology but you will most definitely need exceptional relationship skills that allow you to build rapport and gain trust from people. You will have the ability to work in a consultative manner to identify solutions based on end user requirements. You will have a sales or customer focused background and be a natural born communicator. You will possess strong organisational skills and have a knack for problem solving. You will also be sharply presented and take pride in everything you do.

Most of all you will have a strong desire to be part a team that promotes and supports an emerging technology with a strong growth plan in place.

Qualifications & Experience:

Reporting to the Customer Support Team Leader based in Lower Hutt, the Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing telephone based support of Mitsubishi Electric products in New Zealand.

To be successful in this role you will need exceptional relationship skills that allow you to build rapport and gain trust with our customers. You will have a knack for problem solving and be especially tech savvy. You will be able to think on your feet and have a passion for delivering a superior customer experience.

You will have a fantastic phone manner and be a generally positive person.

We will train you in all aspects of the product but need you to bring with you an energy and desire to achieve, a passion to learn and an exceptional attitude.

This role is varied and busy so you will require an unflappable nature!

You will have a minimum of 2-4 years customer service experience within a high volume corporate Call Centre environment.
