Typically recessed into the ceiling, with only the grille visible for a clean, unobtrusive appearance.
Ceiling Concealed

Installed out of sight within the ceiling, with air distributed through ductwork to grilles or diffusers.
Floor Concealed

Installed out of sight within the wall or floor, with air distributed through ductwork to grilles or diffusers.
Floor Exposed

Floor Exposed or Floor Console indoor units are installed on the floor near a wall or on a wall near the floor and are fully visible.
Wall Mounted

Installed high on a wall, offering easy installation without the need for ductwork or ceiling space.
