Understanding Wi-Fi Control

What happens if someone changes settings using the Wi-Fi Control App at the same time changes are made on the handheld remote?

To explain this it is important to understand how the Wi-Fi Interface works (For detailed information visit our ‘Learn how to use your Wi-Fi Control’ section. The Wi-Fi Interface sends intermittent updates on the status of your system back to the internet (server). At the same time, the Wi-Fi Interface retrieves any commands which have been sent by the Wi-Fi Control app or handheld remote. In the event settings are changed on both the handheld remote and the Wi-Fi Control app in between this intermittent retrieval the Lossnay unit will activate whichever command was sent last.

Why do I need to include my personal information when registering to use Wi-Fi Control?

By entering your details we can/may at times send emails to inform you of any new features/capabilities available for update; however we will not send any unsolicited spam emails. If you do not wish to receive these you are able to unsubscribe by choosing ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of the email. Our full privacy policy can be viewed in our ‘Terms and Conditions’ section

Can multiple smart devices (e.g. phone/tablet) connect to a single Wi-Fi Interface?

Yes, Wi-Fi Control allows multiuser functionality, and as such more than one device can be connected to the same Wi-Fi Interface. To do so, simply use the same registered login and password used to initially set up your Wi-Fi Control on each of the devices you wish to connect.

My 7-Day Programmable Controller allows me to program up to eight settings for each day of the week – is Wi-Fi Control the same?

Mitsubishi Electric Wi-Fi Control offers the ability to set an unlimited number of settings/rules. Referred to as a rule set, these can be unique to each unit. These settings can be anything from turn on/off and change mode and fan speed etc.

Can I set more than one rule to apply?

Yes, using Mitsubishi Electric Wi-Fi Control you can have more than one rule in action on your Lossnay at any one time – in fact the rule setting is almost limitless! To do so you need to set up a new rule set for your Lossnay system. To learn how to set up a rule set for your Lossnay system visit our ‘Learn how to use your Wi-Fi Control’ section.
